He was formerly president of Sewickley Medical Association, a multi-specialty group and President of the Center for Digestive Health and Nutrition and Medical Director of Three Rivers Endoscopy Center. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology, and the American Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Fusco is board-certified both in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been in practice at Sewickley since 1977. His specialty training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology was at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. In 1973, he received his medical degree with honors, also from the University and was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. As an undergraduate, he was elected into membership of Phi Beta Kappa scholastic honor society. Robert Fusco was graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh. In his leisure time, he enjoys golf, fishing, cooking and, most of all, spending time with his family.Ī native of Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Stine's interests include liver disease, gastrointestinal tumors and therapeutic Endoscopy, including ERCP. He is now President of the Center for Digestive Health and Nutrition and Medical Director of Three Rivers Endoscopy Center. Stine is active on the staff of Heritage Valley Health System Sewickley Campus, Ohio Valley General Hospital and Three Rivers Endoscopy Center. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.ĭr. He scored in the top 10% of candidates taking the gastroenterology boards nationwide. Stine is Board-Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Stine's interest in liver disease took him to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he did his Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Stine then completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. He received the Charles Carpenter Award for Clinical Excellence as a Senior Resident. He remained in Baltimore and received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins in 1986. He received his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
